The NEOSEC Ocean Literacy Summit was created in 2006 to provide important opportunities for formal and informal educators, ocean scientists, and policymakers to make connections and advance the goal of building ocean literacy.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">The focus of the 2018 Ocean Literacy Summit will be <a href="http://oceanliteracy.wp2.coexploration.org/ocean-literacy-framework/principle-2-v2/" class=""><b class=""><i class="">Ocean Literacy Principle #2: The ocean and life in the ocean shape the features of Earth</i></b></a>. The <b class="">call for 2018 OL Summit presenters is now open!</b> Professional scientists, informal and formal educators, environmental consultants, government officials, graduate students, resource managers, citizen scientists, and facilitators of citizen science are invited to present their work on the second day of the Summit (November 16, 2018).
