Briar Jam Kitchen in <st1:place w:st="on">East Sandwich</st1:place> and make
your own jars of something special to take home and enjoy or give as a gift.
Expert instruction and all materials are provided to make 4 to 6 jars of
product. Workshops for adults are scheduled from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on a
Wednesday evening and 9:30am to 11:30am on a Saturday morning. Family
workshops, which include one adult and one child working together, are
scheduled from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on a Saturday afternoon. Children must be six
years old to participate. Coming up for adults are <b><span style='font-weight:
bold'>September 2</span></b> and <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>September 6</span></b>,
pear lime jam; <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>September 20</span></b> and <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>September 23</span></b>, pineapple salsa. Family
workshops are offered on <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>September 2</span></b>,
pear lime jam and <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>September 23</span></b>,
apple pie jam. The fee per workshop is $35 for members of the Thornton W.
Burgess Society, $45 for non-members. The fee includes one adult and one child

adventure is suitable for families with children ages 4 and up. The fee for
