<p class="BasicParagraph"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Create rewarding works of art that are also useful items of scientific data by photographing insects and arthropods in their natural habitat. This two-day course will cover the biology
behind each insect subject, while also providing tips on photographic techniques and artistry behind the image. Time outside “learning by doing” will be complemented by indoor sharing and post-production sessions. Our home base will be Mass Audubon’s beautiful
1100-acre Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="BasicParagraph"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">This course is appropriate for advanced beginners and intermediate-level photographers who have a Digital SLR camera with a dedicated macro lens capable of 1:1 magnification ratio, and
have a solid understanding of their camera’s functions.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="BasicParagraph"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Instructor KEFYN CATLEY is a professor of biology at Western Carolina University; he holds a PhD in arthropod systematics from Cornell and was a research scientist at the American Museum
