</span></b><span style="font-size: 12pt;">SEA has been focused on the issue of plastics of in our oceans for decades, dating to the late 1970s, and the research continues with each and every SEA Semester voyage. SEA is increasingly turning its attention to
possible solutions, as well. SEA faculty members, working with Falmouth Water Stewards, have teamed up with NOAA to leverage social norm theory and address the source of plastics in the ocean. With the development of public education materials, they hope to
help staunch the flow of plastics into our waters. This lecture examines this global problem, and looks at possible solutions….</span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: Gotham-Light;"><br>
