pleased to offer more birding excursions with Cape naturalist and field leader
John Hanlon to a variety of habitats on the <st1:place w:st="on">Cape</st1:place>.
On <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>Saturday, October 29</span></b>
participants will meet at 7:00am at the <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Green</st1:PlaceName>
<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Briar</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Nature</st1:PlaceName>
<st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Center</st1:PlaceType> in <st1:place w:st="on">East
Sandwich</st1:place> and travel by passenger van to local sites, returning by
10:00am. An additional birding excursion is scheduled for <b><span
style='font-weight:bold'>Saturday, November 19</span></b>. John has worked for
the National Park Service on Cape Cod and at <st1:place w:st="on">Yellowstone</st1:place>,
the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History and as a Coastal Shorebird monitor for
the Massachusetts Audubon Society. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

especially beginners looking to develop their birding skills and others wishing
to improve their ID sound and sight skills. Dress for the weather and bring
binoculars or borrow a pair with advance notice. The fee per trip is $12 for
Burgess Society members, $16 for non-members. Advance registration is required
