Written by local marine biologist Carol “Krill” Carson and illustrated by Adam Whittier,<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span><i>My Friend Salt<span class="apple-converted-space"> </span></i>is a children’s book that looks at the life of a humpback whale
through the eyes of Salt, a prolific humpback whale with fourteen children, fifteen grandchildren and even 2 great grandchildren, who returns each summer to the waters off Cape Cod to feed. Join Carson for a special presentation followed by a reading of her
delightful book. Proceeds from the sale of the book benefit the non-profit New England Coastal Wildlife Alliance. The program is free with sanctuary admission.
