CCS dock where our research and rescue vessels are located. You will
welcome visitors, increasing public awareness of CCS marine mammal marine research and
conservation work. You will also recruit new members and sell CCS
merchandise. Must enjoy working with the public, become familiar with
our various research projects, and have enough energy to spend several
hours at a time outside in summer.

Volunteers do not need extensive background in order to be great representatives; we will provide orientation and
training for volunteers starting the weeks of June 13 and June 20, as well as provide further informational sessions throughout the summer.

This
would be a great activity for marine science students (generally age 18 and above, but we'll consider motivated high school juniors and seniors) as well as for
permanent or part time Cape Cod residents concerned about our coastal
environment. The possibility for students to
create and incorporate short term projects into their experience at CCS also exists. We ask for a minimum commitment of 2 three-hour sessions per week for
6-8 weeks. We are very flexible.

For applications and for further information please contact:
