Grand Opening June 1</b> ~ Butterflies are among the most beautiful
insects in the world. Our new Butterfly House will give our
visitors the chance to see butterflies “up close and personal.” You
will see Monarch and Painted Lady butterflies flying about and watch
caterpillars go through the different stages of a butterfly cycle.
You may be there at the moment a butterfly emerges from its chrysalis to
join other butterflies in flight throughout the Butterfly House.
Thanks to The Simon Foundation, Crocker Nurseries, YDS Landscape, North
Bay Construction, Nexus Corp, and our volunteers and staff involved in
making this possible!<br>
<br>
On Mondays through Fridays from June 1st until September
2nd guests will be able to feed the butterflies by holding a
small sponge brush with juice on it and watch a butterfly up close as it
drinks from the sponge! What a great photo opportunity!<br>
<br>
*Feeding times are 10am, 12pm and 2pm.<br>
Butterfly House is Free with Museum Summer Admission: Adults ages 13 and
