BREWSTER, MA The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster
continues its Nature Screen series with the award-winning PBS NATURE
documentary Silence of the Bees
Friday, August 21, 2015 at 1pm.

Silence of the Bees explores one of nature's most baffling
mysteries: the disappearance of the honeybee. Beginning in the
winter of 2006, millions of bees vanished from their hives without a
trace. A precious pollinator of fruits and vegetables, the disappearing
bees left billions of dollars of crops at risk and threatened our food
supply. Join researchers as they follow the trail of clues from the
United States to Southern France, from the hills of Spain to England, all
the way to Australia and China as they scramble to discover why honeybees
are dying in record numbers and to stop the epidemic before it spreads
further.

Join us every month for compelling, educational and visually stunning
nature documentaries that inspire appreciation, curiosity and stewardship
of our natural world and its inhabitants.
