Greeters welcome the public to the Reserve providing information, maps and educational materials. Potential volunteers are asked to join us for an information and training session on Wednesday, June 17<sup>th</sup> from 9:30AM to 3:00PM in the Visitor Center located at 131 Waquoit Highway/Route 28, Waquoit.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>Greeters may be asked to assist with estate tours, story times, osprey viewing and arts and crafts projects as needed. There may be additional opportunities to serve as community outreach volunteers for festivals and events in the local area. Our education and interpretive staff will provide all necessary training and continuing support. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>Greeters will learn about the ecology of Waquoit Bay, current research projects within the Reserve, and issues facing Cape Cod such as wastewater, sea level rise and human impacts on our coastal ecosystems. You will also learn to answer the most frequently asked questions about the Reserve; as well as the many recreational opportunities available to visitors such as trails, camping, fishing and kayaking. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:#333333'>We are looking for individuals who want to learn about environmental issues facing Cape Cod, people who like to interact with the public and enjoy a relaxed, fun-filled environment.
