<i>Orchids of Cape Cod with Rich Eldred<br>

</b>BREWSTER, MA As part of our CCMNH <i>Gardening for Life</i> Series,
the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster presents <i>Orchids of
Cape Cod</i> with botanist and newspaper reporter, Rich Eldred<b> Sunday,
March 22, 2015 at 1pm.<br>
<br>
</b>Most every dedicated woodlands walker on Cape Cod knows the pink lady
slipper and looks forward to their blooming at the end of May. But there
are actually over twenty other wild orchids that might be found on Cape
Cod. Learn about them and see what they look like in this slide show
presentation by newspaper reporter and botanist Rich Eldred.<br>
<br>
Rich Eldred is a longtime environmental and news reporter for the Cape
Codder newspaper based in Orleans. He has a degree in Botany from the
University of New Hampshire and a Masters in Plant Ecology from the
University of Western Ontario. He is a member and past President of the
Botanical Club of Cape Cod and the Islands.<br>
The presentation will be held at the Museum Sunday, March 22<sup>nd</sup>
at 1pm.<br>
