BREWSTER, MA.</b>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Naturescape Gallery at the Cape Cod

Museum of Natural History is proud to present “Native Plants” by Cape Cod

nature photographer, conservationist and biochemist, Dr. Hans Rilling

from <b>March 1 – March 31, 2015.<br><br>

</b>In the cause of conservation, Hans served on the Boards of two

chapters of the Audubon Society as president, vice-president and treasure

and it is his passion for the natural world that is captured in his

stunning images.&nbsp;&nbsp; “Photography has always been an interest of

mine.&nbsp; I bought a second-hand Exacta VXII when I was in graduate

school and have played with SLRs and a variety of lenses ever

since.&nbsp; I especially like macro and close up photography and have

filled shoe boxes with slides and prints.&nbsp; I never processed

images.&nbsp; Recently, I was captured by the instant gratification of

digital photography.&nbsp; For me, the hard drive has replaced the shoe

box and the desktop has become an exciting tool for image

manipulation.<br>

Just as the “prosumer” camera occupies the gap between consumer and

professional models, I hope to bridge the gap between snapshot-level and

professional photographer:&nbsp; <i>i.e</i>., I would like to be a

“snographer.”<br><br>
