<p><font face="Calibri, sans-serif" size="2"><font face="Arial, sans-serif"><i><b>Coastal Issues in New England Conference</b></i> - From September 17-18, the Northeast Shore and Beach Preservation Association (NSBPA) in cooperation with the Northeast Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association will hold the 2014 <a href="http://nsbpa.org/" target="FPb4Kkv4Cn9T7LLbOadlYRA"><font color="#0000FF"><u>NSBPA Conference on New England Coastal Issues</u></font></a> in Taunton. The conference will include presentations on CZM?s <a href="http://www.mass.gov/eea/agencies/czm/program-areas/stormsmart-coasts/" target="FPb4Kkv4Cn9T7LLbOadlYRA"><font color="#0000FF"><u>StormSmart Coasts Program</u></font></a>, Rhode Island shoreline management planning, green/nature-based shore protection projects, beach nourishment, identifying offshore sand resources, aging coastal engineering infrastructure, sand-filled envelopes, and other coastal management strategies being implemented in New England. This conference is an excellent opportunity to meet with colleagues to discuss what is working, what is not, and how to meet the challenges ahead.</font></font></p>
