On February 27, 2014, NASA and JAXA (The Japan Aerospace Exploration
Agency) launched the Global Precipitation Measurement Core
Observatory. The satellite will link a constellation of international
satellites and provide more accurate precipitation and climate data. Come
learn about the mission from GPM Master Teacher Nancy Gifford during our
Rain EnGauge event. The presentation will begin with an overview of the
mission with time for questions and answers. Then participants will
engage in hands-on activities on the water cycle and the mission:

Investigate the NASA Space Mission!

Discover how the GPM can see inside storms!

Measure the effects of rain in your community!
