“Putting it on the Table”, a local food series at the Cape Cod
Museum of Natural History takes a bite out of…Beef! Join Laura
McDowell-May, owner of Seawind Meadows, LLC in Dennis, a family owned
farm, for a discussion on raising cattle for beef and farming on Cape
Cod. In addition to raising registered national champion highland cattle,
Seawind Meadows produces grass fed highland beef all raised under strict
quality organic practices utilizing humane methods of production and
finished for local sale direct to the consumer. Their lean, tender and
flavorful beef is dry aged and USDA processed. Grass-fed beef ranching is
not only good for the animals, but involves managing our natural
resources as well. Come learn about Cape Cod family farming!
