The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History is proud to present a lecture
by Amanda Sloan, Landscape Architect, Saturday, May 3rd @ 10am. The
Museum has been planning a rain garden for the past year and is ready to
complete it. Rain Gardens not only are beautiful but provide an important
function; collecting and purifying rainfall and storm water runoff.
Depending upon the plants selected, they may also serve to support
wildlife by providing bird, bee and butterfly habitats Amanda, our
rain garden designer, will discuss the design, construction and
environmental impacts of the Museum’s rain garden.
Participants will help us finish the final plantings and celebrate
with cake!

Fee: $10.00
