On February 25th at 7pm the Cape Cod Museum of Natural
History kicks off its new monthly film series, Nature Screen, with
PBS’ Hit and Run History documentary,
Falklands HO!
Two-time Emmy-nominated producer, Andrew Giles Buckley, and Cape Cod’s
Gumshoe team of Historians are back on the trail of the Columbia
Expedition and headed toward the Antarctic Circle. Hit and Run History
has followed the story of Captain John Kendrick and his crew as they
began the first voyage ‘round the world, ranging all over New England and
the East Coast, to the islands of Cape Verde. Now in their most remote
location yet, the ever-disputed Falkland Islands, HRH’s intrepid crew
fall into the vast, windswept landscape down under. The program will
include and introduction by Buckley, a screening of the film, and a
Q&A to follow.

Join us every month for compelling, educational and visually
stunning nature documentaries that inspire appreciation, curiosity and
stewardship of our natural world and its inhabitants.
