Millions of Americans have suffered because of droughts, heat waves<font size="2">, massive power failures, extreme weather events, and other problems. <font size="2">Last <font size="2">October, Hurricane <font size="2">S</font>andy hit the Northeast<font size="2"> and caused major damage to coastal communities.<br>

<font size="2">Hurricane season starts on June 1st. Two programs have been developed for Cape Cod <font size="2">and island communities that are trying to respond to immediate problems. If you're concerned about climate change<font size="2">, </font> please join us.<br>

<font size="2">MAY <font size="2">29th: (W<font size="2">ednesday.) Community program for grassroots groups and congregations that are concerned about the health and safety <font size="2">issues that related to climate change. <font size="2">I</font>nformation about emergency services, the problems of dehydration and heat exhaustion, Lyme disease, etc. The Sierra Club and the Falmouth Clergy Association are <font size="2">providing </font> assistance in devel<font size="2">oping this program..... Starts at 7:00 pm, at the Unitarian Universalist church in Falmouth. Free. All people invited. The building is accessible for people with disabilities.<font size="2">..... <font size="2">MAY 30th: (Thursday.) <font size="2"> A special class on "psychological first aid" will be offered on Thursday night, May 30, in Falmouth. This class will be helpful for volunteers who work with families, senior citizen groups, emergency shelters, health care centers, congregations, schools, etc. <font size="2">The</font> class is free. However: Preregistration is required.
