dolphins stranded along the bay shores of </span></font>Cape Cod, from Barnstable
to Wellfleet, an event that captured national interest and was widely
publicized throughout the United States and abroad. The sheer numbers were
historic and the intensity of the rescue taxed even the expert abilities and
skills of the IFAW MMRR responders, both staff and volunteers. </p>
