Come explore this rough and rocky corner of the Buzzards Bay watershed where the headwaters of the Monument River (which was excavated to create the Cape Cod Canal) flows out of Plymouth through a narrow valley in the Bournedale Hills. We will walk the pleasant trails on these protected lands and talk about the interesting geology and history of this unique area. We will look for signs of spring including migrating river herring.
