<br> <br>July 25 - Beach Cleanup<br> <br>Beach Cleanup<br>Monday, July 25 at 10 AM<br>West End Breakwater, near the Provincetown Inn. <br> <br>Join us for a thirty minute Beach Cleanup.<br>Registration is not required. Free, but donations are welcome.<br>
<br>Save the Whales Build Your Own<br>Boat Paddle Race <br>Monday, July 25 at 6 PM <br>Meet adjacent to MacMillan Pier near the Surf Club.<br> <br>PCCS will paddle into Whale Week with a Save the Whales Build Your Own Boat Paddle Race. Registration is $25. Prizes will be awarded based on ingenuity, aesthetics, costumes, and winning the race. Register online or call PCCS at 508.487.3623, ext. 103. Make sun prints, mobiles or white line wood block prints of the unique marine creatures that live in our waters. Free, but donations are welcome.<br> <br> <br>Tidal Flats Foray<br>Tuesday, July 26 at 2 PM <br>The West End Breakwater. <br>
<br>Explore the tidal flats with PCCS. Every twelve hours, the tides of the Outer Cape retreat to reveal an exciting world of hidden creatures. Tidal flats are highly productive systems that support large numbers of animals. All ages are welcome and reservations are not necessary. Get your feet wet and discover the secret world of tidal flats with PCCS. Free, but donations are welcome.<br>

<br> <br>Search for Seals <br>Wednesday, July 27 at 2:30 PM <br>The Province Lands Visitor Center.<br> <br>A number of different species of seals occupy New England's waters. PCCS will offer a naturalist led seal walk to search for seals on the Outer Beaches of Cape Cod. Please register by calling the Province Lands Visitor Center at 508.487.1256. Free, but donations are welcome.<br>
<br>Landscape <br>Photography Workshop <br>Wednesday, June 27 at 6 PM <br>Provincetown Lands Visitor Center <br> <br>The Province Lands Visitor Center. Join award winning photographer and director of education, Jesse Mechling, for a two-hour sunset photo tour to one of Cape Cod's iconic lighthouses. Reservations are required. Free, but donations are welcome.<br>
<br> <br> <br>July 28 - Lecture: Whales of Cape Cod and Story of Ibis<br>Lecture: Whales of Cape Cod <br>Thursday, July 28 at 11 AM<br>The Province Lands Visitor Center.<br> <br>Situated twenty miles out in the Atlantic Ocean, Cape Cod is quite possibly the best land-based whale watching region in the world. Learn about the whales that visit local waters. Registration is not necessary. Free, but donations are always welcome.<br>
<br>The Story of Ibis <br> *A theater production based on the book written by John Himmelman*<br>Thursday, July 28 at 5 PM and Friday July 29 at 11 AM <br>Town Hall, 260 Commercial Street.<br> <br>
<br>Children's theater production produced in association with the Provincetown Theater Company. This live action/puppet production retells the incredible story of the first whale successfully disentangled by PCCS, followed by a Q&A with Dr. Charles "Stormy" Mayo. Content is suitable for all ages. Prior to Friday's performance there will be children's arts and crafts inside Town Hall at 10 AM. Free, but donations are welcome.<br>
<br> <br>July 29 - Sunset Whale-Watch Cruise with PCCS and William Sargent<br> <br> <br>Sunset Whale-Watch Cruise with PCCS and William Sargent<br>Friday, July 29 at 5:30 PM<br>Departs from MacMillan Pier.<br> <br>Join PCCS and renowned author and filmmaker William Sargent, aboard the Dolphin Fleet Whale Watch. Cruise to prime whale-watch grounds and learn about whales from the scientists that have been studying them for 35 years. Tickets are $100 for PCCS members and $120 for non-members (includes first-year membership). Price includes special label wine from Truro Vineyards, beers from the Land Ho! and picnic supper from Far Land Provisions. Call 508.487.3622 x 104, to register.<br>
<br>William Sargent writes about natural science and is the author of over five books, a journalist and filmmaker. All proceeds from the Sunset Whale-Watch Cruise benefit whale rescue, research and education programs at PCCS.<br>
<br>July 30 - Party on the Pier<br>Party on the Pier<br>Saturday, July 30 from 12:30 - 3PM <br>MacMillan Pier.<br> <br>Whale Week culminates with a Party on the Pier, a free concert featuring the Incredible Casuals! Join us for food, games, crafts, and fantastic music at this open air concert. <br>
