He'll highlight research done at the Reserve which shows the importance of undeveloped land in taking up nitrogen pollution before it hits the bay. Brendan will provide tips on what homeowners can do to help save land including permanently protecting family land with conservation easements, supporting land conservation in your town, contributing to land trusts, and leaving a portion of one's yard wild so it can more fully serve these ecosystem functions. During his time working at Waquoit Bay Reserve, Mr. Annett was responsible for many of the Reserve's recent land acquisitions.
