<h3>Attention Educators and Students in Grades K-12</h3>
Once again, the Massachusetts Marine Educators and Stellwagen Bank
National Marine Sanctuary are sponsoring a Marine Art Contest for
grades K-12. The contest is free and open to all eligible students,
including art classes, marine science classes, environmental clubs,
afterschool programs, individual public or private school students,
and home schoolers. Co-sponsors include the New England Aquarium,
Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies, Whale and Dolphin
Conservation Society, and Stellwagen Alive.<br>

The theme for the 2011 contest is:<br>
Amazing Ocean Creatures of Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary<br>
<br>
Contest deadline is April 28, 2011 (art must be at the sanctuary
offices by 6pm of that day; address is NOAA/SBNMS, 175 Edward Foster
Road, Scituate, MA 02066)<br>
<br>
The divisions are: Elementary (grades K-4), Middle School (5-8),
High School (9-12), scientific illustration (all grades) and
computer graphics and photography (all grades). <br>

Winning 2010 artwork is part of a traveling show that is now in the
lobby of the JFK Building in Government Center and will move to the
Salem National Historic Site Visitor Center for the month of
February.<br>
