<DIV>HONORING THE WORKERS</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>The Labor Day weekend is approaching and we're at the height of hurricane
season.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>On Cape Cod, residents pause every year on 9/11 to honor emergency services
workers. The 9/11</DIV>
<DIV>tragedies from the year 2001 are remembered. So this is
an anniversary event. However: It is</DIV>
<DIV>also a time to honor the people - including the Coast Guard
personnel, the firefighters and police</DIV>
<DIV>officers, the medical workers, etc. - who help coastal residents and who
respond to some difficult situations.</DIV>
<DIV>If our coastal region suffers through an oil spill, or coastal flooding,
we'll call these folks.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>In Falmouth, the 9/11 gathering takes place at Falmouth
Hospital. This year's event will start at</DIV>
<DIV>noon, at the flag pole in front of the Lilly Lobby. All
people are invited. This is an interfaith event</DIV>
<DIV>that is coordinated by the Falmouth Clergy Association and the Upper Cape
Chaplaincy with support</DIV>
<DIV>from the Falmouth Hospital.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>For additional information, please call Rev. Sally Miller, who is one of
the hospital chaplains.</DIV>
