Coast are watching for color-banded Piping plovers. These
&#8220;bracelet-wearing&#8221; shorebirds were banded down in the Bahamas this
winter as part of research done by Dr. Cherie Gratto-Trevor of Environment
Canada. To date, thirteen banded plovers have arrived and nested on Cape Cod
beaches including locations in Harwich and Wellfleet.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

Gratto-Trevor will be speaking at Mass Audubon&#8217;s Wellfleet Bay Wildlife
Sanctuary on Wednesday, <strong>July 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the Wellfleet Bay
