NOAA's National Sea Grant College Program is advertising for Program Analysts to work in the Silver Spring, MD, headquarters office. These positions will be Full Time Term Appointments Not To Exceed 2 years. As a program analyst in the NSGO, you may provide: impact analysis, communication assistance, education leadership, fellowship management, Federal Advisory Board management, program evaluation assistance, database management, contract analysis, and grant management. These activities include analyzing information from the 32 Sea Grant Programs, representing the Sea Grant network at national level meetings, creating Federal Register Notices, coordinating and facilitating meeting logistics, and processing grants. As a member of the National Sea Grant Office, you will provide a solid familiarity with the topics being supported by Sea Grant's investment in university-based research, education, and outreach efforts. You will assist with implementation of Sea Grant's strategic plan for 2009-2013. Sea Grant's mission is to provide integrated research, extension and education activities that increase citizens' understanding and responsible use of the nation's ocean, coastal and Great Lakes resources and support the informed personal, policy, and management decisions integral to realizing this vision.<BR>
