<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Party with a purpose!<BR><BR>The traditional Woods Hole walk on January 1st
will start at noon, at the Woods Hole Community Hall, on Water Street, in
Woods Hole.... This will be an easy family walk around Eel Pond in
Woods Hole.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>At the edge of the saltwater, the local Sierra Club will lead a
"toast to the coast" with non-alcoholic beverages.
Environmentalists will promise to help protect coastal areas and the oceans of
the world.</DIV>
<DIV>After the outdoors gathering, we'll retreat to the Community Hall for a
potluck party. We'll share the</DIV>
<DIV>last of the holiday cakes and candies, etc., as we recognize the start of a
new year.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>This will be the ninth year for this event. It's not a
fundraiser or an athletic contest. Families, especially,</DIV>
<DIV>are welcomed.... Bring silly hats, rainbow flags, and holiday
noisemakers.... Environmental protection groups that would like to
display posters and literature are invited..... The year 2010 walk is
organized by Falmouth's "No Place for Hate" organization with the support of the
Sierra Club's Cape Cod and Islands Group, the Falmouth Clergy Association, and a
variety of community groups on Cape Cod.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Everybody will be wished "Happy New Years!" in Woods Hole. For
additional information about the walk, please contact the Unitarian Universalist
