<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 face="Times New Roman"><span style='font-size:
12.0pt'> The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster will
offer the course: <b><i><span style='font-weight:bold;font-style:italic'>Botanical
Color Pencil Art </span></i></b>with Gillian Rogers. This six-session
course will take place every Wednesday on September 9, 16, 23, 30; October 7
and 14 at </span></font>1:30-3:30 pm in the Museum. $100/M, $120/NM. Limited to
10 people. Registration is required with prepayment.<br>
<br>
This course will teach the use, application and technique of color
pencil to create your own unique botanical painting. Drawing experience is
helpful, but not required.<br>
<br>
Gillian Rogers is a member of the Color Pencil Society and an
Artist member of the Cape Cod Art Association. <br>
<br>
Supplies that will be needed are: graphite pencil #4, sketching HB Pencils #2B,
6B, 9B,<br>
<br>
a sketch pad, tracing paper, a set of Prismacolor pencils (36), a portable
pencil sharpener, a kneaded eraser, a Pentel “Clic Eraser”, a white
magic rub eraser, a brush such as draftsman’s mini-duster or any soft
brush, masking tape, a color wheel, Canson acid free vellum or Strathmore acid
free vellum paper.<br>

Cape Cod Photo and Art in Orleans will apply a discount for course
participants. Staples in Orleans and Hyannis also have some of the supplies.<br>
