style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:Arial'>The annual NERS Conference brings
together over 100 scientists, marine animal specialists, managers, educators, stranding
network volunteers, and interested laypeople from <st1:State w:st="on">Virginia</st1:State>
to <st1:State w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Maine</st1:place></st1:State> to
network and share the latest knowledge about marine animal strandings, disease,
rescue, and rehabilitation. On Friday, March 27<sup>th</sup> and
Saturday, March 28<sup>th</sup>, scientific papers on marine mammal and sea
turtle disease, case studies, stranding trends, large whales, and other topics
of interest will be presented. On Sunday, March 29<sup>th</sup> there
will be a special symposium on Marine Animal Disease in the 21<sup>st</sup> century.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
