<p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 10pt"><font size="3"><b style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Georgia','serif'">(PROVINCETOWN, CAPE COD, MA)</span></b><span style="FONT-FAMILY: 'Georgia','serif'"> - </span></font><span style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; LINE-HEIGHT: 115%; FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman','serif'">On Thursday, December 11, 2008 at 7 p.m., PCCS will host a panel-style discussion on Cape Cod's fisheries with PCCS Marine Fisheries Initiative director, Owen Nichols, and local fishermen.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>The lecture is part of a free lecture series held throughout November and December by PCCS at the Hiebert Marine Lab, located at 5 Holway Avenue in Provincetown.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>Panelists<span style="mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-bidi-font-style: italic"> will discuss the history of fishing on Cape Cod, the state of our fisheries today, and the future of our fisheries tomorrow.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span>PCCS scientists hope this lecture will provide an opportunity for the public to learn about the heritage of our fishing communities, the challenges facing modern fishermen, and insight on how we can work together in the future.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </span></span></span></p>
