Thursday, November 6 at 7:30 pm the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in
Brewster presents the lecture <B><I>Fish Voices</I></B> with Dr. Rodney
Rountree. $5/Member, $7/Non-member.<BR>A professional marine biologist, Dr.
Rountree is a recognized international leader in the development of passive
acoustic technology applications to fisheries and marine exploration. He has
managed multidisciplinary estuarine and fisheries programs <BR>for the National
Marine Fisheries Service and University of Massachusetts. <BR>Dr.
Rountree’s work has been chronicled in local newspapers, NPR, Discover Magazine,
and on-line. He has maintained an extensive web presence for over ten years (<A
href="http://www.fishecology.org/" eudora="autourl">
http://www.fishecology.org</A>). His site provides important raw data, analyses
and research descriptions and targets academics and resource management
professionals, as well as graduate and undergraduate students. He was a former
research associate at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History.<BR>Fish Voices
will be a program of interest to all enthusiasts of fish biology and behavior,
