The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster presents Nature Photography
for Digital Photographers with Stan Godwin, an introduction to the technique of
fine nature photography using digital capture. The course will be on Wednesdays
9-11 am September 17 & 24, October 1 & 8 with Saturday Field Trips 7-9
am on September 27 and October 4. Cost: (CCMNH & CCAA) $100/member,

508-362-2909.<BR></I> <BR> The ideal student has a deep love of
nature, a photo quality inkjet printer and Photoshop® or Photoshop Elements® on
a home computer. Topics will include techniques and aesthetics of shooting in
nature as well as archiving and printing images on your home computer and/or
through your local professional lab.<BR> <BR> Stan Godwin was
an Associate Professor of Photography at Texas A&M-Commerce (TAMU-C) where
he was employed for thirty years. He has taught a variety of courses including
Basic Black and White, Color, Nature and Wildlife, Visual Perception and Digital
Imaging. His photographs have been widely published in magazines, newspapers and
books, shown in galleries and on the web. He is past President of the Photo
Imaging Education Association and currently serves as Consultant to that group,
as well as teaching workshops on Cape Cod and in
Texas.<BR> <BR> Students with basic digital SLR knowledge
and/or students from any of Stan Godwin’s<BR>previous classes are welcome.
Knowledge of shooting and handling RAW images is highly recommended! This will
be a shooting class. <BR> <BR> Materials List required: digital
camera and lens, memory card(s), tripod and/or monopod, charged batteries,
