Cod<BR> <BR> <BR>FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 12,
2008<BR><BR><BR></STRONG>On Saturday, July 19 (July 20, rain date) from 9:00
am-4:00 pm the July 4 Brewster Butterfly Count will held from the Cape Cod
Museum of Natural History, 869 Rte 6A, Brewster. The leader will be Alison
Robb.<BR> <BR>Directions<B>: </B>Take Exit 9B off Rte 6 and follow Rte 134
North to Rte 6A, then turn right and follow 6A to The Museum, on the left at #
869 Rte. 6A, Brewster. <BR> <BR>The Butterfly Count on Cape Cod is a
wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of these exquisite insects and to contribute
to the scientific database on their presence and migration
patterns.<BR> <BR>Both newcomers and veteran participants are welcome –
whether you are starting on a new, exciting adventure, much like bird watching,
or can help identify butterflies. Butterflies are not only beautiful and
interesting, but also important pollinators.<BR> <BR>The count is run by
the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) and there are counts in July all
over North America. You can find out all about the counts by going online

eudora="autourl"><U>www.naba,org<BR></A></U> <BR>Participants will need to
bring a lunch, binoculars, proper clothing, a butterfly guide if you have one,
and be prepared to have a good time! We shall carpool in teams to many
sites. Butterfly books are on sale at the Museum.<BR> <BR>If you are
