a plant survey last year for the Harwich Conservation Trust's 60 acre
conservation area off <st1:Street w:st="on"><st1:address w:st="on">Bank Street</st1:address></st1:Street>
in Harwich. 274 species of plants were identified in the bogs, which are at
different stages of natural succession. 81% of the plants found were native,
including two rare state-listed species. The area has an unusual display of
native grasses, not commonly found in such abundance in one place. The walk is
