working in the field of marine conservation for 20 years. He currently works
with the Large Whale Disentanglement Program at the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName
 w:st="on">Provincetown</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Center</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>
for Coastal Studies, where he uses illustration to study whale entanglement and
devise disentanglement action plans. His illustrations have been used in
scientific publications and conservation outreach campaigns, nationally and
abroad. Some of his more recent illustrations appeared in <i><span
style='font-style:italic'>The Urban Whale</span></i>, by Kraus and Rolland.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

Shareen was born into a fishing family, married a fisherman, fished and has
remained active in fisheries advocacy throughout her life.&nbsp; She is also a
phenomenal photographer.&nbsp; Whether shooting photos for feature stories in
the <i><span style='font-style:italic'>Cape Cod Voice</span></i> or taking
stunning photos of marine life and fishermen, Shareen has always looked to her
experiences on the seas as a source of inspiration for her vision.&nbsp; &nbsp;<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
