This is a great opportunity for the whole family to learn about what’s
going on in the community. Activities include games, arts and crafts, face
painting, science demonstrations with local scientists, kayak demonstrations
and a touch tank full of critters from the bay!</span></font></p>
<p class=MsoPlainText><font size=2 face="Times New Roman"><span
style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman"'> </span></font></p>
<p class=MsoPlainText><font size=2 face="Times New Roman"><span
style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman"'>Many local organizations
will have hands-on activities for kids and provide valuable information on what
they are doing to help protect our natural resources. Cape Light Compact, MA
Division of Fish and Wildlife, FACES, GreenCape, Clean Power Now, the Sierra
Club, Mahoney’s Garden Centers, Nantucket Sound Keepers, Cape Cod
Commission, Clean Energy Design, Citizens for the Protection of Waquoit Bay,
Cape Cod Children’s Museum; Cotuit Solar, Cape Cod Community College, New
England Coastal Wildlife Alliance and Sr. Environment Corps are just some of
the organizations participating. SeaSports Kayaks will also hold kayak
demonstrations down at the bay. Organizations will highlight practical
information on ecological landscaping, renewable energy technologies, and
groundwater issues. </span></font></p>

generously donated to this event including entertainment by the The Falmouth
Fiddlers. Complimentary ice cream will be provided by Smitty’s Homemade
Ice Cream and Ben and Bills Chocolate Emporium and, watermelon from
Kenyon’s Market. Visitors are also invited to bring along a picnic
dinner to enjoy on the bluff while visiting the Reserve.</span></font></p>
