Woods Hole Center for Oceans and Human Health invites the public to
participate in a public forum on “The Impacts of Hurricane Katrina on
Human Pathogens in Lake Pontchartrain.” Sponsored by the WHOI
Elisabeth and Henry Morss Jr. Colloquium Fund, the forum will include
discussions of the long-term public health effects of Hurricane Katrina
and the implications for other coastal communities. The event will be
held on Saturday, November 18, from noon to 4 p.m. in Redfield
Auditorium, on the corner of School and Water Streets in Woods Hole.
