This workshop will cover the problems and solutions that towns and
local land trusts face when a developer is setting aside open space
pursuant to Planning Board or ZBA mandates. Presenters will discuss
the necessary steps to ensure protection, pitfalls to be avoided, and
long-term stewardship issues. We will also explore the range of bylaws
that Massachusetts towns have implemented to encourage open space
developments.<br>
