<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">The Woods Hole
Research Center seeks an experienced, energetic person to direct the
Center’s annual solicitation and new donor acquisition programs,
prospect research, maintenance of the fundraising database, and
maintenance of the Center’s donor recognition program. The position
reports to the Director of Development.<span style=""> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><b>Qualifications:</b>
Five or more years in directing, planning and organizing annual giving
programs. Clear understanding of the use of direct mail to reach
ambitious revenue targets. Excellent computer skills and direct
experience managing fundraising software. Detail-oriented with ability
to communicate persuasively both orally and in writing. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><b>Responsibilities:</b>
All annual fund programs, donor acquisition strategies, solicitation
pieces, fundraising database functions, donor reports, statistics,
revenue projections and expense budgets, prospect research, recognition
programs, donor tracking, pledge fulfillment, effectiveness of
individual solicitation strategies, cultivation strategy for donors
with giving potential, identification of major gifts prospects.</p>
