The second in a series of three, this workshop is intended to be most
useful to individuals who are raising shellfish -- either for profit or
restoration. <br>
<br>
Shellfish farmers in Massachusetts know that fouling is a major
problem. Find out more about who those pests are (including boring
sponge and sea squirts) and what other farmers do about them!<br>
<br>
Confirmed speakers include:<br>
- Andre Mallet, oyster farmer from the Canadian Maritimes<br>
- Mark Hooper, shellfish farmer from Smyrna, North Carolina<br>
- Rick Karney, Martha’s Vineyard Shellfish Group<br>
- Jim O’Connell, Wellfleet Shellfish Company<br>

Workshop is free, but pre-registration is required</b></u>. Attendance
is limited to 50, with preference given to licensed shellfish farmers.
