<DIV>John Holdren will speak about energy and the environment on Friday night,
April 22, at the Unitarian Universalist meetinghouse in Falmouth. The
event is free and the public is invited. The reception for Dr. Holdren
will begin at 7:00 pm. He will speak at 8:00 pm.</DIV>

<DIV>The event is sponsored by the Sierra Club's Cape Cod Group. The
Unitarian Universalist meetinghouse is located at 840 Sandwich Road in East
Falmouth.</DIV>

<DIV>Dr. Holdren is not "a Nobel Prize winner." He reports, "I had the
honor of giving the acceptance speech for the 1995 Nobel Peace Prize on behalf
of the Pugwash Conferences on Science and World Affairs, an organization for
which I was the Chair of the Executive Committee at the time. But it
was the Pugwash organization, not I personally, that won the prize."</DIV>

<DIV>Dr. Holdren is not "the new director of the Woods Hole Research
Center." At this moment, he is still the director-designate for the
Center. He will succeed George Woodwell in
