on energy from non-renewable resources. With recent focus on the proposed
large-scale wind project in Nantucket Sound, there has been little discussion over
the importance of energy efficiency and utilizing renewable energy in our own
homes and small businesses. Erecting small turbines in individual backyards may
be part of the solution. Tom Wineman, a renewable energy consultant, will
provide an introduction to wind turbines made to power homes and businesses
during a workshop of <b><span style='font-weight:bold'>Green Home&
Business: Focus on Energy</span></b>, an educational series that focuses on
energy in the home and small business. Topics covered will include wind power
basics, an overview of small wind technology, basic site assessment, and cost
analysis.</span></font></p>

talk, the last in the Green Home series, will be held on Tuesday, April 5 from

Reserve in Waquoit. The program is FREE and registration is not required, but
