North and South Rivers Watershed Association (NSRWA) seeks a part-time Project
Manager to help implement the organization’s Low Impact Development (LID)
training program for municipal officials.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">

set of landscape and development techniques that encourage infiltration of
stormwater at the lot level to reduce run off, increase ground water recharge
and reduce non-point source pollution.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">

LID Project Manager will serve as the NSRWA’s liaison with a stormwater
technical consultant and the four South Shore communities participating in the
project: Plymouth, Kingston, Pembroke and Hanover.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The ideal candidate will hold a master’s
degree in an environmental-related field and/or land use planning, have 2-5
years experience working in the environmental field, and be a motivated
self-starter who has the ability to work both independently and as part of a
team.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The ideal candidate will also
possess: strong written and verbal communication skills, familiarity with the
South Shore communities, experience with stormwater management, familiarity with
LID concepts, and general knowledge about community-based social marketing
techniques.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Tasks will include
grant administration; subcontractor management; facilitation of meetings,
workshops, and fieldtrips with multiple stakeholders; marketing and public
relations; and reporting.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>This
two-year position will average 10 hours a week, with a variable work schedule
contingent upon the various stages of the project.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>The position requires occasional
attendance at evening meetings and reliable transportation.<SPAN
style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>Salary is commensurate with experience
and in the range of $15-$20 per hour.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">
</SPAN>Possibilities exist for increasing the contract hours to include
additional responsibilities within the organization.<SPAN
