Subject: Open Space Walk

HI all,

On Sunday, April 25th from 2 to 4 the Open Space Committee will be
having an "OPen House for Open Space."

As you may know, there are three properties on the town warrant for
purchase. All three are very important: the Mumford property,
will connect Wiley Park with the Nickerson Conservation area, and
Cottontail acres; The Hatch property is a beauty, between the
bike trail and Depot Pond; the White property provides extra
protection for the Rock Harbor and Boat Meadow marsh area.

At 2:00, Sue Haley, a member of the committee and Nat'l Seashore
ranger, will lead a walk from Cottontail Acres to the Mumford
property on Great Pond. Park at Cottontail acres on Samoset
Rd.

Also, from 2 to 4 at Wiley Park, members of the committee will be
there to discuss the three properties, and to lead walks towards
the Mumford property. Directions will also be available to see the
Hatch property, which is on the bike trail by Depot Pond, and drive
by the White property.

Unfortunately, the article I sent to Debi Stetson of the Cape Codder did
not get published...apparently she is away, so publicity for this has
been nil. So...please come if you can, and bring all your friends
and relations!

Thanks,

Judy

PS> Pass this along to anyone you know who might be
interested.
