The Massachusetts Bays Program will be hosting the Massachusetts Bays
Symposium on May 6 and 7, 2004 in Boston; the first such symposium in a
decade. The Symposium will bring together coastal experts from
throughout the region to describe the current conditions of
Massachusetts and Cape Cod Bays, review ten years of progress, and
strengthen scientific partnerships to take future actions needed to
protect and enhance the coastal health and heritage of the Bays.

Registration for both days of the Symposium is $45, which includes
breakfast and lunch on both days, as well as the Massachusetts Bays
Estuary Association's <i>State of the Bays Reception</i>
(May 6 from 5-7PM, additional details coming soon). A limited number of
student waivers will be made available - please call (617) 626-1230 to
request a waiver. Registration fee of $45 is due by April 30 to Salem
