I am using the sw_gvel mfiles (CSIRO Seawater Toolkit on SEAMAT) and I was wondering whether you have an mfile that will also calculate the angle of flow between a pair of stations as well? Thank you for your help Best wishes Isabelle Ansorge From nhogg@whoi.edu Fri, 08 Jun 2001 12:36:46 -0400 Date: Fri, 08 Jun 2001 12:36:46 -0400 From: Nelson Hogg nhogg@whoi.edu Subject: [Sea-mat] matlab files We would all like to be able to do that but, unfortunately, the information from two stations only allows you to calculate the component of flow perpendicular to them. This is just basic physics relating coriolis force to pressure gradients There is a routine that calculates the angle and distance between two stations (sw_dist, I think). Hello all,

Has anyone got a 'Spectral Interpolation' m-file to = fill gaps=20 in a time series spectrally? (something similar as in the EPIC=20 package).

Cheers

Mauricio

As parts of CMGTooL (A Matlab based oceanographic data processing and display package) developed in the Coastal and Marine Geology of U.S. Geological Survey, I have adapted the Fortran codes into mfiles. If anyone is interested, I can send you the routines through email. Cheers. -Jingping At 12:56 PM -0300 6/21/01, Mauricio M.
