Department of Geological Sciences (IGV)</span></a> is one of three departments within the Section for Geo and Environmental Sciences at Stockholm University's Faculty of Science. The department has approximately 70 employees, including around 10 technical
administrative staff and about 15 PhD students. Its activities span three areas: geology, geochemistry, and marine geoscience, encompassing both research and teaching. Teaching is conducted both on campus and through distance learning, with a total of approximately
