<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Job Description: </b>This specialized professional position works with the Director of the Office of Resilience to advance Palm Beach County climate resilience and sustainability initiatives. Job duties may include: advancing the Southeast
 Florida Regional Climate Change Compact Regional Climate Action Plan (RCAP) and other objectives that build community resilience to climate impacts; providing outreach on climate change initiatives; preparing and giving presentations to County departments;
 municipalities and civic groups; supporting various events; developing grant proposals, educational materials, press releases, news articles, website content and social media content on climate resilience and sustainability; maintaining County greenhouse gas
 inventory and creating greenhouse gas mitigation strategies; advancing sustainability initiatives throughout County departments; researching climate resilience and sustainability best practices and vulnerability analyses; coordinating sustainable government
 certification processes; preparing applications and overseeing resulting contracts, inter-local agreements and partnerships; and supporting climate, energy, sustainability and technical teams. The analyst will also collaborate with the Office of Resilience
 Director on the Office mission and vision and developing the County's climate action plan. Work is performed with a minimum of supervision.<b><o:p></o:p></b></p>
