<p class=""><b class="">Assistant Professor - Physics
Courses / Open Research:</b><span
class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>The State
University of New York, College of Environmental Science
and Forestry (SUNY ESF) invites applications for two
tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant
Professor level to start in Fall 2018. The successful
candidates will be required to teach introductory
Physics courses, conduct research in their areas of
specialty, assist in the development of a new "Physics
Program" at ESF, and participate in service activities.
The research area is open; illustrative examples include
soft matter, computer simulation, computational fluid
mechanics, atmospheric or oceanic physics, energy system
modeling, renewable materials science, remote sensing,
geotechnical engineering, or geoengineering.
Opportunities exist for collaboration with faculty at
the Department of Physics and the Biomaterials Institute
at neighboring Syracuse University. We seek candidates
with excellence in both teaching and research and
commitment to professional and University service.<o:p
