The job title is “Senior Chemist, Product Development Lead” and he’s looking for marine chemists with experience in instrument development. The opportunity sounded great for someone interested in sensor development, designing your own lab, and taking on an exciting position at the ground floor of a growing company. The company has developed a patented sensor that monitors 10 basic parameters in saltwater aquariums (O2, Temp, pH, NH3, etc.), and have it hooked up to send data to the Cloud and to web apps. Their target market is high-end saltwater aquariums, with potential growth to aquaculture and hydroponics markets down the road.
